Brixham & Torbay have over 22 miles of coastline to explore. Entertainments close by include Churston go carts, Broadsands beach, Goodrington theme park with Quay West water rides, Woodlands park and Cayman short hole golf to name but a few. Dartmouth and England's oldest town Totnes are a short bus or car ride away and both Paignton & Torquay are within easy commuting distance. Brixham is famous for its fresh fish and the town is host to a number of fish restaurants and eateries.
Brixham has a number of beaches including Breakwater Beach located near Brixham harbour, this is a pebbly beach, ideal shallow paddling for the kids, going out to deeper water for scuba diving. A beachside restaurant, which serves A La Carte seafood amongst other dishes (open evenings too, great views), and a beach cafe for takeaway snacks, etc. |
